general principles

Under the design load, meet the requirements of stiffness and strength

1)    The thickness of the dashboard must be able to withstand the tensile and compression loads and in-plane shear loads of the design load.

2)    The sandwich core should have sufficient strength to withstand the transverse shear force under the design load.

      3)  The compressive elastic modulus of the sandwich and the compressive strength of the panel are sufficient to prevent wrinkling of the panel under the design load.

4)    The sandwich core should have sufficient elastic modulus and compressive strength to prevent compression damage caused by normal load and flexural deformation.

5)    The sandwich structure should have sufficient bending and shear stiffness, and the sandwich core should have sufficient thickness and shear modulus to meet the design requirements for flexural deformation.

6)    The thickness and shear modulus of the sandwich core should be large enough to prevent the overall buckling of the sandwich structure under compression.

7)    The size of the honeycomb core should be small enough to prevent the surface panel from sinking under the design load.

8)    The sealed joints of the sandwich wall panels should be strong enough to connect the sandwich core and the panel and transmit the load to other parts of the structure.

9)    The surface plate, sandwich core and bonded extrusion should match and have good workmanship.
